The Woodlawn Plantation and Gardens

A Heritage of Hospitality Since 1840

About Woodlawn Plantation

Centuries have passed since Woodlawn Plantation was established in 1840. Amid stately oaks and lush landscaping, Woodlawn takes its guests on a leisurely stroll to a time when hospitality and graciousness were not just appreciated but a cornerstone of Southern heritage.

One of the few surviving antebellum natural cedar and cypress wood plantation homes, Woodlawn Plantation provides the perfect setting for entertaining – welcoming porches, intimate garden settings and rolling fields anchored by centuries-old trees and outbuildings. Whether it’s a wedding reception or a long-overdue gathering of friends and family, what better way to celebrate than at a place where the simple pleasures of the past don’t seem so far away.

At Woodlawn, we want you and your guests to feel right at home. We open our doors to you, and we’re glad you’re here.

Welcome to Woodlawn Plantation – we hope you’ll stay awhile…
